Imagine if Linux Torvalds did not make Linux an open source software. Android and other great innovations birthed by Linux would not exist today. In addition to this, there are so many proprietary softwares that depend greatly on open source.

This lightning talk would help attendees discover the true essence of open source by exploring what a world without it would look like. Thus, inspiring and driving more participation, contribution to and support for open source.
